Established in Switzerland way back in 1862, Mammut is one of the oldest outdoor brands in the world and has become a determining brand in mountain sports and beyond. From the Swiss Alps, designers work together with, athletes, mountain guides, and lovers of alpine sport.

We’re really looking forward to working with them, testing out their super cool kit, and putting it through it’s paces while we guide, instruct and play on a daily bases in the ever changing and at times extremely challengeable wild rugged mountains of Kerry. In particular we will be getting familiar with and trialling a selection of the excellent range of Mammut footwear & boots as-well as using it’s renowned ropes for all our Rock Climbing courses and activities. Also can’t wait to get out on the sunny rock with my super cool Wall Rider helmet>>> and it’ll  go along nicely with my brand new Ophir climbing harness>>>  

We will be working closely with Mammut Retail Partner and our good friends in O’Sullivans Outdoor Store in Killarney who are the go to Outdoor retailer for not only Mammut but also for KerryClimbings other select  “Recommended Equipment Partner” – Rab.

We will be posting on our various channels regular ratings & reviews of selected chosen items of Mammut Equipment, Clothing, Kit and Footwear, our honest opinions and thoughts and how they stand up to daily use and much abuse in the mighty MacGillycuddy’s Reeks. So stay tuned!!!
