Carrauntoohil by the Devil’s Ladder (ref: DL 27/5)

Carrauntoohil by The Devils Ladder Route is one of the more straightforward ways to ascend and descend Irelands highest mountain and is still graded Difficult.

A truly exciting and rewarding route that provides spectacular views throughout and involves a thrilling 300m section of grade 1 scrambling via the Devil’s Ladder.
A fantastic day in these most amazing rugged peaks. It is a challenging day’s hiking and so, a good basic level of fitness is most definitely required.
