Cummeenapeasta Ridge

A Challenging graded route – 7+ hrs and 10km. This route affords breath-taking views of all of The Reeks and into The Black Valley and takes you along a spectacular knife edge ridge – a truly thrilling route! Requires a very high level of fitness, confidence on sheer rocky terrain and being comfortable with heights. Previous scrambling experience is essential. Ref: 27/12 Confirmed

Coomloughra Horseshoe

Ticking off Irelands 3 highest mountains.  Rough, uneven, steep and rocky terrain involving sections of grade I/II scrambling. Arguably one of the very finest walks in Ireland, this trek truly provides you with what the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks has to offer in terms of breath taking views and exciting challenges. Please note : Often underestimated and hence requires a good head for heights and high level of mountain fitness. Ref 30/12 Confirmed

A spectacular route in a truly magnificent setting. The 2nd most popular way to gain the summit of Ireland’s highest and taking you through awe-inspiring wild mountain scenery. Graded as Strenuous – involves some sections of easy scrambling. 6.5 + hrs. Good level of fitness is required.
